So Many Things To Be Grateful For

I can't believe how blessed we are! So many great things have happened these last couple of weeks!

I know I don't post about them much, but our fur babies are so important to us. They were our first babies after our marriage when we couldn't get pregnant. They've been there through the struggles and the great moments. They are so great with Jordan. We couldn't ask for better dogs. Mackey had a small lump under his arm that I wasn't too worried about and then a couple months ago, he had a large lump on his arm that came out of nowhere. We took him to the vet last week and they both ended up being fatty tumors. Then, we noticed Roxy drinking a lot of water and having to pee wayyyy too often. We took her to the vet tonight and she didn't have a bladder infection, no diabetes, and her numbers are pretty good. Her gluclose and liver levels were a little high, but they are not concerned about them right now. They gave us medicine for incontinence. We're going to try that for 10 days to see if it improves. If not, they will do an xray to see if there are any lumps on any of her organs. I have been so worried about both of them. It's nice to know that they will be here for the holidays and to enjoy our new house with us. <3

Another great thing that happened. Well....it wasn't great, but the recent news was. In early October, I stopped at a gas station to fill up my tank. I started having car troubles. I took it into the Toyota dealer and a man who worked there had the same issue and had other customers who did as well. It ends up that the person who filled up the tanks at this specific gas station, filled the 87 octane tank with diesel fuel. The gas station company paid to have the fuel system flushed, all 6 spark plugs changed....essentially did a tune up on it. Then a week or two later my check engine light came on. I took it in again and it ended up being the catalytic converter and the oxygen sensor. It was going to cost us $2,800. I contacted the gas station again because I read online that the issue could be caused by incorrect fuel used. After 3 weeks of me and a lady at Toyota going back and forth with their insurance company, they finally determined that they cannot prove it was their fault and also cannot prove that it happened because it was just that time, so they are covering it. So awesome!!!!

In awesome news.....we are ALMOST Hoosiers!!! We are closing on December 27th!!! As much as I want to spend our first Christmas in our new home this year...the timing couldn't be more perfect. I have one more week of my master's class and then a two week break. I also have two weeks left of work until our two week winter break. I will have no other stresses during the time we will be moving. We are BEYOND excited and ready to live in our own home again.

That's really all I have for now. Nothing too exciting has happened lately. Well....except that we went to Monster Jam in mid-October!!!

And Trick-or-Treating for the first time...and in our soon to be neighborhood!

It's amazing how fast time is flying! I am so blessed for all that I have and for this little man! I could not have asked for a more awesome son!
