We've been back from Mexico for a week now and it has been so hard getting back to reality. I miss the upper 70's/low 80's and the feeling of the sun on my skin. I miss having no worries in the world. I miss being served food and drinks all day and having someone clean up after us and wash/dry our bedding and towels. I love my life. Jordan is the easiest baby in the entire world, but you don't realize how much you are constantly going until you are given the opportunity to take a break. A 5 day break. We didn't do ANYTHING. We stayed at the resort and enjoyed the pool most of the time. It was an awesome break, but I really missed my little man. I really just wanted to fly back to Chicago, pick Jordan up, and then fly back to Cabo.
Here are some pictures from our trip. We were asked not to post any pictures of my SIL (the bride), so I really don't have a ton of pictures to share.

Mike and I go to Mexico every 5 years. We went on our honeymoon to Akumal in the Riviera Maya. Then we went back to that area (more specifically Playa del Carmen) for our 5 year anniversary. Our plan was to go back to Mexico (the same area) for our 10 year anniversary (which was on March 4th) and renew our vows on the beach. I wanted to lose weight and get back into my wedding dress and have the dress shortened. Well, then my SIL got engaged last year and they decided to get married in Cabo San Lucas in March (last month). Well, our plans were cancelled and really that is alright. What is the point of getting your vows renewed when you are in a wonderful and happy relationship and you always have been? It's like when people get a new wedding ring because they can all of the sudden afford a bigger stone. I would never change out my engagement/wedding ring. It is the ring that was blessed on our wedding day. Speaking of the ring....I really need to get my butt back into gear to lose enough weight to fit back into it. Anyways, we really enjoyed our time in Cabo. It was way different than the other side of Mexico. Where we were, the water was too cold and the water was too rough. We could not swim in the water. Also, the sand was very rocky. In the Riviera Maya, you can swim in the water and the beaches were white and fine sand. Cabo had moutains though...which we loved. The Riviera Maya is flat. It's hard to say what we prefer, but I think now that we have Jordan and we would want to play on the beach and in the water, our next trip will most likely be in the Riviera Maya.
I am way behind on Jordan updates and he will be one in one week. It is so crazy how fast this last year has gone. My little guy is getting so big. Here are his 10 and 11 month photos as well as his Easter photo.
In January, Jordan joined his cousin, Lukas, on Friend's Day at his music class. He really liked it, but we were torn about the cost. Well, we decided to sign him up for the class and we started a few weeks ago. He is having a blast. He loves the teacher and the music.
I think that is all that I have missed since my last major update. I will post about his birthday party after next Saturday! Have a great weekend, everyone!
