I figured that I owe an update. I haven't had much time to do what I wanted with this blog entirely and to read and comment on my friends blogs. I'm working on it though. I need to allocate time to Blogger. It is just so hard to get to it with a baby now. Not to mention the fact that I returned back to work a week ago. On the bright side, this year I am starting off the year planning with two of my teacher friends, so it makes everything MUCH easier.
On another note, I am still working on losing the weight I gained from the pregnancy and some more. It's getting increasingly harder, but I am starting the AdvoCare 24 day challenge this week. I hope it helps me to get to my goal weight by the end of March.
So, this weekend we went to my MIL's lake house and I dressed my guys alike. :) Aren't they cute?! Big man, little man. :)
Speaking of the lake house. BIG NEWS! Mike's mom and her boyfriend are wanting to move into the lake house permanently and sell their other house. She wants to keep it in the family, so she offered it to us. We have to work out some finances first, but we are hoping to be able to make it happen maybe by next summer. I am trying not to get my hopes up, but it is hard. It's in a beautiful subdivision (in a forested area) and it is so much more space than we currently have, in a better neighborhood, and it is pretty much perfect for us and our growing family. The bathrooms and kitchen were recently remodeled. It has a living room, formal dining room, laundry room, large kitchen, and family room (with a fireplace) on the main level, a large basement, and the upper level has the master bedroom (with an en suite), a large regular bathroom, and two bedrooms, as well as a 2 car heated attached garage, a large deck, and a hot tub in it's own little room that is attached to the deck. I LOVE their house. It is more than I could've ever imagined we would be able to have for us and for Jordan (and hopefully a sibling of his in the future).
That's it for now. I hope everyone is doing well. I promise to make time to read and comment on your blogs. I find it MUCH harder these days with a baby. :/
