I'm mainly posting over at Belly to Bump lately, but I wanted to post a quick update for those that have not yet started following my new blog.

This break from fertility treatments has been wonderful thus far! We are able to be intimate as much as we want. It felt like we were always forbidden to have intercourse during the IVF cycles. It is nice to be spontaneous and not have to worry about ANYTHING. It is also so nice to not even think about getting pregnant. When my period comes, I do not cry. I couldn't be happier with our decision to take a break. I have been working really hard to lose the weight that I've gained over the last 3 years. 17 of those pounds I gained during our 12 months of fertility treatments. In late February I weighed in at 217 pounds and right now I'm at 204. I am getting there. Slowly, but surely. I am training my body with the C25K program to run My First 5K called The Color Run on June 8th. I am very excited and I hope that it is a success!

In other news, my sister who just had a baby in September announced a little over a week ago that she is pregnant again. Her due date is October 25th. If our FET had been successful, then we would've been due on October 17th. I am happy for her, but saddened by the fact that I will be watching her bump and thinking about what could have been. I shouldn't do that to myself, but sometimes you just can't help it.

I hope everyone is doing well! I'm still reading your blogs and hoping to get around to commenting soon! Have a happy week, ladies!

Have to check out your new blog. Excited! This was like reading one of my own posts (only you write it much better!)

Taking a break, focusing on health (weighed in at 216.5 this morning) and training for a few upcoming 5Ks (including The Color Run in August)

Hello Twin. Can't wait to read more! :)

Glad you are able to enjoy the break from TTC. Great news for your sis but I know it's hard to hear for you at the same time :(

So excited about your new blog and that color run is going to be a blast!

Goodness gracious sister! Fertile Myrtle! I know that's hard to hear. You are happy, but it's also hard on you. I get that. When one of my good friend's announced her pregnancy and told her her due date was March 29 (angel baby's due date), I seriously had to be sedated. It was very hard watching her grow and I wasn't.

So excited for your journey!!! Health and fertility journey both!
