Week 1

Weight Lost So Far: 7.6 lbs

Exercise: I walked 14 miles on the treadmill this past week.

Eating: I am counting calories and stayed under my calorie intake goal 5 out of the 7 days.

Weak Moments: I had wine and probably too many Girl Scout cookies on Friday and Saturday. Weekends are so hard.

Cravings: Pizza. We had pizza pretty much weekly for a long time. Mike tried to talk me into ordering pizza the other night, but I was strong and said NO! ;)

Next Week's Goals: Add in strength exercises and eat more fruits and veggies. My goal is to lose 5 more pounds by next Monday.

Congrats on the weight loss you have achieved so far! I started back on a diet myself this week and I really need to rid our house of sweets if I'm going to be able to do it (and yes that includes girl scout cookies!). It's tough though because when I get home from work I just want to lay on the couch boo! This is inspiring though so maybe your post worked for me!!

I love this idea! It'll be great to go back and track your success and also motivation to not have too many cheat days. Remember one bad meal or bad day doesn't ruin your diet, just like one good meal or day doesn't make your diet. Though, I like lifestyle modification better than diet because it's permanent, diet isn't. Good luck and congratulations on a great week 1!!

I have a recipe somewhere for a pizza with a cauliflower crust. Satisfied the craving without the carbs! I'm sure you can find 100 others on Pinterest!

Keep it up! What an amazing first week! Congratulations!
