Like I had mentioned before, I was skinny until I was like 7 or 8 years old and then I became overweight. I was pretty much that way until I decided to do something about it when I was 21. I lost 30 pounds on the Atkins Diet in a month and a half. I know, it was crazy quick.

Somewhere between our wedding in 2006 and 2009, I managed to gain back the weight, plus about 8 more pounds.
In August of 2009, we went swimming at our friend's house and we took some pictures. These pictures that we took really opened up my eyes. I then lost about 35 pounds by exercising and counting my calories. I mainly kept under 1000 calories per day.

Here's to the embarrassing part. Since this picture in 2009, I had gradually and then quickly gained back all the weight plus about 30 pounds. I am so disappointed in myself for letting it happen. That's what I get for eating/drinking what I want, when I want, and sitting on the couch while doing it. Boo. Dumbass. Unfortunately, this picture below is me a week ago.

I am happiest when I am comfortable with the way I look. I know I can lose the weight again and I look forward to the journey that lies ahead of me. I will be posting weekly updates on my weigh-in days (Mondays) starting with my first one after this post. :)
P.S. Yes, I realized that I am an airhead and put "weightloss" on the board, when it is two different words. I realized it after the picture that I took today, so I will have it fixed for week 2. ;)
