❄Pay it Forward for the Holidays❄

Cheers to Paying it Forward!
Today I had a taste for a white chocolate mocha. While running a couple errands after work, Mike and I stopped at Starbucks. Because money is a little tight, I asked my husband if we could pay for the order for the car behind us as long as it wasn't a lot. I could tell that the vehicle only had a woman in it. Sure enough her order was $4 and some change, so we paid for it. My parents do this most of the time when they go to Starbucks and I think that it is so cool. I have wanted to do this for awhile now and I felt like the holiday season is the perfect time to do so. It felt good to pay it forward! :)

Part of the reason that I decided to do this is because of a blog post that a friend posted the other day. Teresa at Where the Bleep is Our Stork? inspired me to do something nice for someone else. A couple days ago she pulled some names off of a giving tree and is buying gifts for two kids for Christmas since she and her husband don't have any children of their own. How cool is that?! Read the article here. Teresa also recently applied to be a RAKtivist through The Random Acts of Kindness Foundation. Good luck, Teresa! I know you will be an awesome RAKtivist! ;)
