The Beginning of a 2WW

My Mother's Day Present From My Mom & Dad :)
After 12 days of giving myself Follistem injections, I had my 4th IUI on Monday and am currently on my 2WW. I had a total of 4 larger follicles. I think they were 11, 12, 15, and 25mm. I know from previous IUI's that they prefer them to be over 18mm, so I don't really know what the chances are of 11, 12, and 15 getting fertilized. Is that size considered mature? Mike's sperm count was 6 million with only 61% motility. We were pretty disappointed with that number. His sperm count for the first 3 IUI's ranged between 2.5 million and 6.5 million, but the motility ranged from 76% to 98%. I have a progesterone check this Friday and then my pregnancy test is on June 3rd.

With that being said, I think we are going to take a break from IUI's, so this will be it for awhile. Maybe we will luck out and not even need anything more, but I am NOT going to get my hopes up! The reason we are going to take a break.....Mike is in construction and has worked for almost a year straight, but today he was laid off and is #432 to go back out. Ugh. While we have pretty good insurance, we still have to pay like 20%, so that will not be easy to do just living on his unemployment. I will be out of work soon too, so it's not going to be easy. For many reasons, I am praying that I get a teaching job next school year in the district that I currently work. A) I love teaching, B) I need money, C) I was told by a teacher who was an IVFer that their insurance covers 100%. I hope our luck turns around soon!

I hope everyone is having a fantastic week! Prayers and baby dust to you all!

I am so sorry to hear about the lay off, I can't even begin to imagine how hard that must be. I will keep you in my prayers on getting that job and also a BFP on the 3rd!

So sorry about the layoff, went through that last year with DH, it wasn't easy, but we managed to do better budget wise than when he had a job. Keep praying and those windows will open for you! Praying for that BFP and wonderful new job!
